Bokwa is an intense cardio workout combining elements of African Dance, capoeira, kickboxing, light-boxing and step. Created by dancer and fitness instructor Paul Mavi, who hails from South Africa. His innovative fitness style has become the rage in Southern California.
Bokwa not only boosts the metabolism, but the spirit. Paul dedicates himself to providing a workout for his participants that creates a fitness lifestyle, including proper nutrition. Class participants number consistently around 60 or more per class, at 3 times per week and specialized group trainings which Paul aptly names "Bokwa Extreme" are scheduled and well attended 9 classes per week. He makes it a point to know each individual who takes the Bokwa challenge by name. |
